This is something we were talking about at math class the beginning of the year. All of my classmates including me were so confused when he said that the answer was 0. Honestly, in my perspective, I can look at the argument from both sides.
I searched it up on Wiki and took out this part "so division by zero is undefined." Maybe that leaves the answer to the argument still open. I really thought going into this question that it would be answered with some explanation that had all these crazy alien worlds. But, fortunately, it was left open meaning that I, with my hypothesis, could be correct.

I think that if you aren't dividing anything that the obvious answer is zero. Say that if you have four markers, then you are supposed to divide by zero, which is nothing. So you are just not dividing anything. Sadly, that is not how it works in math right now. Hopefully later they will get a different philosophy over the subject.
